I draw zombies all the time, so I figured I'd treat you folks to a real-life zombie. Here we have a zombified ant, infected with Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis spores. The fungus controls the ant's brain, leading it to an ideal climate where the fungus can thrive, it then makes the ant clamp its mandibles down on the branch or leaf it chooses in a sort of death grip where the ant will remain, playing host to the fungus as it propagates within the ant, eventually killing it, and bursts through it carapace, fully mature, and releases spores into the air to infect more ants.
